Twice Shy James R. Sharp and Carol-Ann Sharp

James R. Sharp's murder was featured on Discovery ID's American Monster, Season 4, episode 3. The show is titled, "Twice Shy" and is described as: "Carol-Ann and James Sharp seem like a match made in heaven, but behind the veneer hides a monster in plain sight; loved ones close to the couple sit down for the first time on
camera to make sense of a murder that none of them saw coming.". He is currently incarcerated in the state of Mississippi.

James pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on Monday in the 2017 death of 23-year-old Carol Sharp. He had been indicted on first-degree murder charges by the grand jury. The wound was reported as self inflicted, however, police determined her husband had killed her. She died nine hours later.

On American Monster, Season Three, the episode titled, “Don't Forget Me“ is about Kelly Harrod and the murder of her husband, Franklin Wayne Harrod Jr..
